Dear Gary,

The system design for the (10) chain capable lubrication system requires
(4) nozzles for each chain.  Two nozzles will lubricate the sliding portion of the chain and (2) nozzles will lubricate the pin-link interaction points.  Each chain requires a laser sensor and a logic cable.  Each chain will require mounting brackets (customer supplied) which will be made from prints supplied by Xact (more detail is required on chain to proceed).  The single enclosure (36x30x10) will be large enough to house all (40) Xact Pumps with brackets, logic control, solenoid valve stacks, regulators, gauges, fittings, wiring, etc.  

The system quoted is inclusive of enclosure, ultrasonic level sensor (for drum/reservoir), (3) sets of lasers with cord sets, (12) nozzles (4 per chain), (3) solenoid valve stacks, bulkhead fittings, tubing, wiring, programming, CAD drawings, and installation instructions.

That said, to completely lubricate (10) chains, Amerifoods would need to purchase the (7) remaining sensors and cord sets, fittings, tubing, nozzles, etc. to finish installation for all the chains.  The cost associated with the remaining portion is $7,400.

When you figure the cost of the entire system, the fact that it lubricates 10 chains, is enclosed in a single cabinet, and can draw fluid from an easily changeable 55 gallon drum (with monitoring), the cost is not very high per chain.  The initial cost of the enclosure, logic, and components necessary to make (3) circuits is a bit difficult to swallow.  

I assure you that this pricing is tight on my end as I know we have been working on this for some time and I really want this to work, but there is not much I can do to eliminate cost as the components are required and I do not manufacture these items.  

Please let me know as soon as possible what decision is made on this project.  I have three other POs in house which require more than 8hrs of my time per day.  I will work with you to expedite this system, but the next few weeks are not looking good.
